How to Play Chess Against AI

Choose "Play vs AI" to take on a model yourself, or "Watch AI vs AI" to pick two models and spectate their battle.

The model list is fetched live from OpenRouter. Pick from GPT, Gemini, Claude, DeepSeek, Grok, Qwen, Llama and dozens more. In watch mode you choose one model per side.
Make your moves
Click a piece to see its legal moves, click a highlighted square to move. The AI answers in seconds. Checkmate, stalemate and draws are detected automatically, and you can share your result when the game ends.
