The stack you did not mean to build

You are paying for four subscriptions to do one job

Here is what a working creator actually pays right now.

One tool for images. Another for video. A third for talking avatars. A fourth for editing. Each one bills monthly. Each one hands you credits that expire at the end of the month whether you used them or not. Each one takes its cut on top of what the model actually costs.

You are not paying for AI. You are paying for four dashboards that sit in front of AI.

And the moment you stop paying, you lose access to the tool, the history, and in some cases the files.

OpenField is $99 one time. Year two costs you nothing. Year three costs you nothing.

Prices verified August 2026 from each company's own published pricing page. Plans and credit allowances change often. Verify current rates before you decide.

No middleman

You bring the key. You pay the model directly. We take nothing.

OpenField does not resell you credits. There is no OpenField token, no OpenField currency, no monthly allowance that expires.

You paste in your own fal.ai key. Optionally OpenAI, OpenRouter, ElevenLabs, or Anthropic. Every generation bills to your account at the provider's real price. We never sit in the middle and we never mark it up.

That means when fal drops a price, you get the drop the same day. When a new model ships, you get it without waiting for us to add a pricing tier.

Real numbers

Here is what $99 of actual generation buys you

Real fal.ai list prices, August 2026.

$0.03
per image on Seedream 5.0 Lite

That is about 3,300 images for the price of one year of a mid tier subscription.

$0.08
per image on Nano Banana 2 at 1K

Roughly 1,200 images for the same money.

$0.05 to $0.40
per second of video, depending on the model

A five second clip on a fast model runs about a quarter.

$0
per month, forever, after your $99

No renewal. No seat fee. No credit reset.

A creator posting one image a day for a year spends about $11 on Seedream. The subscription that would have covered it costs $168 to $360 for the same period.

30images / month

One a day is 30. One an hour of a working day is about 160.

Which model?
$1.05
what you pay fal.ai a month
$12.60
what you pay fal.ai a year

Cost for one year at that volume

Compared against the top consumer plan of each tool, because that is the tier that actually allows this volume.

  • Higgsfield Ultra$1,188
  • HeyGen Business$1,788
  • OpenArt Wonder$2,880
  • ImagineArt Creator$3,000
  • OpenField, year one$112
  • OpenField, every year after$12.60

Subscription figures are the published monthly rate times twelve, paid whether you generate anything or not. Entry plans start lower, from $9 to $29 a month, but their credit allowances stop well short of this volume. The OpenField figures are the full cost of generating every one of those images, with nothing held back.

Model prices are set by fal.ai and change without notice. Figures shown are list price at time of writing and exclude taxes.

One window, nine tools

Nine studios. One app. One window.

Each one is a full tool. Together they replace a stack.

01

Image Studio

43 image models, one prompt box.

  • Every major model including Nano Banana 2, Seedream 5, FLUX 2, Ideogram V4, Qwen Image 2, Hunyuan Image 3, Krea 2, Luma Photon
  • Aspect ratios drawn to scale so you pick a shape, not a number
  • Custom width and height for models that support it, up to 4 images per run
02

Video Studio

43 video models, from five second clips to 4K.

  • Text to video, image to video, and first plus last frame control on 14 models
  • 20 models generate native audio with the footage
  • Durations up to 15 seconds, resolutions up to 4K
03

Cinema Studio

Direct the shot before you generate it.

  • Pick the camera body, lens, focal length, and aperture, and it all feeds the prompt
  • Project based, with a bento gallery of every shot you have made
  • Second by second timeline scripting for action, dialogue, and camera movement
04

Video Editor

A real timeline, not a trimmer.

  • Multi track timeline with ripple edit, blade, trim, and keyframes
  • Cut a clip and its linked audio cuts with it, exactly like a proper editor
  • Captions with word level timing, pulled from automatic transcription
  • Exports MP4 and WebM, H.264, H.265, VP9, VP8 and AV1, from 480p to 4K
05

Talking Avatars

A photo and a voice clip. That is the whole input.

  • Five models including OmniHuman 1.5, Kling Avatar v2 Pro, InfiniTalk, Creatify Aurora
  • Emotion and head movement follow the audio automatically
  • Audio length checked before you spend anything, not after
06

V2V

Change a video that already exists.

  • Edit the whole clip from a written instruction, keeping the original motion
  • Restyle, extend, and lip sync
  • Vidu Q2 continues real footage instead of guessing from the last frame
07

VidMotion

Put your character in someone else's performance.

  • Six motion transfer models including Kling V3, Wan Motion, DreamActor
  • Feed a character image and a driving video
  • Keeps the character's proportions instead of stretching them
08

MotionGFX

Motion graphics without After Effects.

  • Describe the animation and get it built
  • Brand kit aware so it matches your colors and type
09

Workflows

Wire it once. Run it forever.

  • Node canvas: input, generate, edit, upscale, video, compile, output
  • Build by dragging or by describing the flow in a sentence
  • Every model in the app is available at every node
Your work, kept

Everything you make stays yours and stays findable

Library

Every generation saved with its prompt, model, and settings. Search it, favorite it, drop it straight back into a new prompt as a reference.

Brand Kit

Your colors, fonts, and logos applied across generations so output looks like you made it, not like a model made it.

Elements

Save a character or a prop once. Type the @ symbol in any prompt and pull it in by name.

Local files

Your work sits in a folder on your drive. Not in a bucket you rent. Back it up, move it, open it in anything.

Local first

It runs on your machine. That is the point.

OpenField is a real desktop app. The database is on your drive. The images and videos are in your folders. There is no OpenField server holding your work.

Close the app and your files are still there. Cancel your provider key and your files are still there. We could vanish tomorrow and your files would still be there.

Compare that to a browser tool where your entire history lives behind someone else's login.

SQLite database in your user folder, not a cloud bucket
Generated files written straight to disk
Nothing about your work is uploaded to us, because there is no us to upload to
Both platforms

Installs clean on both. No warnings, no workarounds.

Mac

Apple Silicon and Intel. Signed and notarized by Apple, so it opens on the first double click with no right click trick and no security warning.

Windows

Windows 10 and 11, 64 bit. Standard installer.

Updates land inside the app. One click, it downloads, it installs. You never hunt for a download page again.

  • Every future update, forever
  • The complete Promptslove library
  • No seats, no credit resets, no renewal

Generation is billed by your own provider at their list price, typically a few cents an image. That cost is yours either way, and it is the one thing we never mark up.

Four people

Read these and see if one is you

The content creator

You post daily. You burn through a credit allowance by the 18th and then you either pay again or stop posting. With your own key you just keep going, and you only pay for what you actually make.

The agency

You bill clients for creative. Every subscription is margin walking out the door. One app, one payment, unlimited seats on your own machines, and the API cost passes straight through to the client at cost.

The filmmaker

You need first frame and last frame control, real camera language, and a timeline you can cut on. Not a toy. Cinema Studio and the editor were built for exactly this.

The person who is just tired of subscriptions

You counted your monthly software bill last month and it made you feel something. This is $99 and then it is done.

Straight answers

The questions you are already asking

Do I need an API key to use this?

Yes. You need a fal.ai key, which takes about two minutes to create. That key is what lets you pay the model directly at cost instead of paying a middleman. You can add OpenAI, OpenRouter, ElevenLabs, and Anthropic keys too, but fal alone covers most of the app.

So there are extra costs?

Yes, and we would rather say it plainly. You pay the model provider for what you generate. Images run around three to fifteen cents. Video runs around five to forty cents per second. That is the actual cost of the compute, and it is the same money the subscription tools pay before they mark it up and resell it to you.

What happens when new models come out?

They get added in updates, which are free forever. The app already carries 96 models across 30 providers and grows with each release.

Is $99 really one time?

Yes. There is no renewal, no seat fee, and no upgrade tier. You buy it once and every future version is included.

Will it work if I am not technical?

Pasting an API key is the only setup step, and it is a copy and paste into a settings box. Everything after that is buttons.

Does my work leave my computer?

Only the prompt and any reference file you choose, sent to the model provider you picked, exactly like every other AI tool. The difference is that your library, your projects, and your finished files live on your drive and never touch a server we control.

Mac and Windows both?

Both. Apple Silicon, Intel Mac, and Windows 64 bit. The Mac build is signed and notarized by Apple so it installs without a security warning.

What if I already pay for one of these tools?

Then you already know what a month costs. OpenField is less than one month of most top tier plans, and it does not come back next month.

$99 once. Then never again.

96 models. Nine studios. A real video editor. Mac and Windows. Every update from here on included.

The subscription you are paying right now will charge you again in under 30 days. This will not.
