Privacy Policy
Last updated: 13 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use promptslove.com, members.promptslove.com, our desktop apps and our Chrome extension, why we collect it, who we share it with and what rights you have. It is written to meet the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the ePrivacy rules on cookies, and US state privacy laws.
1. Who we are
The services are run by Promptslove LLC, a limited liability company organized in Virginia, United States (“Promptslove”, “we”, “us”). We are the controller of the personal data described here, which means we decide how and why it is used.
For anything privacy related, including requests to use your rights, email contact@promptslove.com. We do not publish a postal address; if you need one for a formal request, ask us by email and we will provide it.
2. The short version
- We only collect what we need to run the site, deliver what you bought and keep things secure.
- Analytics and advertising cookies are off until you allow them if you are in the EU/EEA, the UK or Switzerland. Elsewhere they are on by default and you can switch them off at any time in Cookie Settings (footer). We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal.
- Our own page-view counter uses no cookies and stores only a shortened IP address.
- We never sell your personal data and we never see your card details.
- Text you type into our AI tools is sent to AI model providers to generate the answer. Do not enter sensitive personal data.
- You can access, export, correct or delete your data. Email contact@promptslove.com.
3. What we collect, why, and for how long
Under the GDPR every use of personal data needs a legal basis. The table shows each activity, the data involved, our purpose, the legal basis and how long we keep it.
| Activity | Data | Purpose | Legal basis | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Visiting our websites | IP address, browser and device type, page requested, referring page, time | Deliver pages, keep the service secure, detect abuse and fix errors | Legitimate interests (running a secure website) | Web server logs: up to 90 days |
| Our own page-view statistics | Page, referrer, browser type, shortened IP (last part removed), a visitor code that changes every day | Count visits and popular pages. No cookies, no cross-day tracking | Legitimate interests | 90 days |
| Analytics and advertising cookies | Cookie IDs, pages viewed, interactions, ad click IDs, approximate location, device data | Understand how the site is used, measure and improve our ads and affiliate referrals | Consent (EU/EEA, UK, CH). Elsewhere legitimate interests, with an opt-out | See Cookie Policy |
| Free AI tools and AI games | What you type, the result, a hashed device identifier and hashed IP used for daily limits | Generate your result and enforce free usage limits so the service is not abused | Performance of a contract (providing the tool you asked for); legitimate interests (abuse prevention) | We do not store your inputs. Usage-limit records: up to 48 hours (job-risk tool: 12 months) |
| Contact form | Name, email, message, attachments, one-time verification code | Answer your message and stop spam | Legitimate interests; contract if it is about a purchase | Verification codes: 24 hours. Messages: up to 24 months after the conversation ends |
| Newsletter and free downloads | Email address, name if given, sign-up and confirmation time, source page | Send the download and the emails you signed up for | Consent (double opt-in) | Until you unsubscribe, then a suppression record so we do not email you again |
| Members account | Name, email, password (hashed), Google profile name and picture if you sign in with Google, preferences, favorites, course progress, generator history, community posts, support tickets and feature requests | Provide your account and the content you purchased | Performance of a contract | While your account is active. Deleted when you delete your account, except where we must keep records (below) |
| Account security | Login times, IP address, browser and device type, account activity log | Protect accounts, detect account sharing and fraud | Legitimate interests | 12 months |
| Purchases | Name, email, country, plan, amount, transaction ID, consent to immediate access. Card details stay with Dodo Payments | Grant access, handle support and refunds, keep tax and accounting records | Performance of a contract; legal obligation | Up to 7 years after the purchase (tax and accounting rules) |
| Ad conversion reporting | Purchase or sign-up event, value, ad click ID, IP address and browser type, and a one-way hashed email and account ID | Tell Meta and OpenAI Ads that an ad led to a sign-up or purchase | Consent (EU/EEA, UK, CH). Elsewhere legitimate interests, with an opt-out | Sent once; kept by the ad platform under its own policy |
| Chrome extension and desktop apps | Account token, prompts you ask the extension to optimize, app version, licence checks | Provide the feature you used and enforce plan limits | Performance of a contract | Tokens until you sign out or revoke them. Prompts and results may be kept in your history until you delete them or your account |
| Legal and disputes | Any of the above, as needed | Establish, exercise or defend legal claims; respond to lawful requests | Legitimate interests; legal obligation | As long as the matter requires |
We do not use your data for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you. The “Will AI Take My Job” tool produces an estimate about an occupation, not a decision about you.
5. AI features and your inputs
When you use a free AI tool, an AI game, a members generator or the Chrome extension, the text (and any image prompt) you submit is sent to OpenRouter, which routes it to the AI model provider that runs the model (for example Google, Anthropic or OpenAI), or to fal.ai for image and video generation. They process it to return a result, under their own data-use terms. Our free public tools do not save what you type; members generators keep a history in your account so you can reuse results.
7. International transfers
We are based in the United States and our servers are in Canada. If you are in the EU/EEA, UK or Switzerland, your data is therefore processed outside your country. Canada has an EU adequacy decision. For transfers to the United States we rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (and its UK and Swiss extensions) where the recipient is certified, and otherwise on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (with the UK Addendum where relevant). Email contact@promptslove.com for a copy of the safeguards.
8. Your rights
If you are in the EU/EEA, UK or Switzerland (and in many other places), you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you and get a copy.
- Correct data that is wrong or incomplete.
- Delete your data (“right to be forgotten”). You can delete your members account yourself in your profile settings.
- Export data you gave us in a machine-readable format (portability).
- Object to processing based on legitimate interests, and always to direct marketing.
- Restrict processing while a complaint is being resolved.
- Withdraw consent at any time (Cookie Settings in the footer, or the unsubscribe link in any email). This does not affect what happened before.
- Complain to a data protection authority, for example the one where you live or work. A list of EU authorities is on the EDPB website; in the UK it is the ICO. We would appreciate the chance to fix things first.
To use any right, email contact@promptslove.com from the email address on your account. We reply within one month (we may extend this by two more months for complex requests and will tell you if so). It is free. We may ask you to confirm your identity.
9. US state privacy rights
Residents of US states with privacy laws (such as California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut and others) can ask to know, access, correct and delete their personal data, and to opt out of targeted advertising, “sale” or “sharing”. We do not sell personal data for money. Our advertising cookies may count as “sharing” or “targeted advertising” under some state laws: you can opt out with Cookie Settings, and we treat a Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out. We do not use sensitive personal data to infer characteristics about you. We will not discriminate against you for using these rights. If we deny a request you may appeal by replying to our decision; if you disagree with the outcome you can contact your state attorney general.
10. Children
Our services are not directed to children. Members accounts and purchases are for people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal data, email contact@promptslove.com and we will delete it.
11. Security
We use HTTPS everywhere, hash passwords, limit staff access, keep software updated, and keep only the data we need. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach is likely to put your rights at risk we will notify the relevant authority and, where required, you, without undue delay.
12. Changes to this policy
When we change this policy we update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will tell members by email or with a notice on the site before it takes effect, and ask for consent again where the law requires it.
