How to Play Tic-Tac-Toe Against AI
Pick your mode
Choose "Play vs AI" to take on a model yourself, or "Watch AI vs AI" to pick two models and spectate.
Choose X or O
X always moves first. Pick your mark and your opponent from the live OpenRouter model list, then start the game.
Get three in a row
Tap any empty cell to place your mark. Line up three in a row, column or diagonal before the AI does. Wins, losses and draws are detected instantly, and you can share your result.

Is playing tic-tac-toe against AI really free?
Yes. Everyone gets three free games per day across all our AI games. No signup, no credit card, no downloads. The limit resets every 24 hours.
Can AI language models actually play tic-tac-toe well?
