How to Play Yahtzee Against AI
Roll and hold
Roll five dice, tap the ones you want to keep, and reroll the rest up to two times per turn.
Pick a category
Score the roll in one of 13 categories, from Ones to Yahtzee. Each can only be used once, and the preview shows what every open category would score.
Chase the bonus
Fill the upper section to 63+ for a 35-point bonus. After 13 rounds each, the higher total wins the duel.

Does the AI really decide its own rolls?
Yes. On every AI turn the model is shown its dice and decides which to hold, when to stop rolling, and which category to score, with the dice rolled server-side so nobody can cheat.
Is playing really free?
Yes. Everyone gets three free games per day across all our AI games. No signup, no credit card, no downloads. The limit resets every 24 hours.
How good are AI models at yahtzee?
Solid but not optimal. They chase big categories well, but they misjudge when to bank a safe score versus gamble on the reroll. Good bonus management usually beats them.
Which AI models can I play against?
The model list is fetched in real time from OpenRouter, including GPT, Gemini, Claude, Grok, DeepSeek, Qwen, Llama and more. New models show up automatically as they are released.
Can I watch two AIs play?
Yes. Choose "Watch AI vs AI" mode and watch two models roll, hold and argue with probability for 26 turns.
